Studio policies are subject to change without notice.
Booking & Session Fees
Session fees are due at the time of booking to reserve your date and time.
Payment may be made by Visa or MasterCard.
Session fees are non-refundable and cover the time, talent, and creative work on the day of your session, as well as the preparation and editing of your proofs for your viewing appointment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
With proper notice, your session fee may be applied toward a rescheduled session.
If you reschedule within 48 hours of your cancellation, your session fee can be applied to the new appointment.
We are unable to refund session fees for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as we cannot rebook that time.
If you experience a last-minute illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible so we may assist you.
Arrival & Studio Etiquette
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival will reduce your session time.
Your session is not a group event unless previously arranged and approved. Please limit guests; anyone accompanying you may be asked to wait outside or return later.
Photography or video recording in the studio is not permitted.
Hair & Makeup
Studio hair and makeup services are occasionally available and may be used when offered.
We recommend arriving with hair and makeup already completed unless services are arranged through the studio.
If you wish to bring your own artist, this must be approved in advance, and a studio rental fee will apply.
Viewing & Ordering Appointment
Your viewing session typically lasts about one hour. If you believe you will need additional time, please let us know in advance so we can schedule accordingly.
Please take the time you need to select your images during your viewing session. Once digital files are delivered, they are non-refundable, as your order has already been fulfilled.
Editing & Retouching
All images receive professional editing for exposure, color, and retouching as part of your session.
If you request additional or specialized editing beyond what was agreed upon, this work is billed at an hourly rate.
Ordering & Payment
Orders are placed at your viewing appointment.
Final payment is required before prints or products are ordered.
We accept credit cards, cash, and checks.
Payment plans are available; however, 50% is due at the time of ordering, and the remaining balance must be paid in full before products are released.
Minimum print order: $250 plus tax.
Please allow 4–6 weeks for delivery of finished products. Rush options may be available upon request.
Sales & Products
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable.
We are not obligated to store images beyond your ordering period, and cannot guarantee availability after your gallery expires.
Online Gallery
Your online proofing gallery remains active for 20 days from the posting date.
A small fee will apply if you request to have the gallery reposted.
Copyright & Usage
All images are protected under federal copyright law and remain the property of Cathy Nance Studio.
Reproducing, scanning, copying, or printing images without a written copyright release is prohibited.
Cathy Nance Studio reserves the right to use images for portfolio display, marketing, competition, or promotional purposes. Names or personal details will not be used without permission.
Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Current pricing will be honored once your session is booked with a paid retainer.
